The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. About Dan Twyman
I have been creating art all my life. My father was a published cartoonist who also sold advertising, he was the last to hand draw ads for the Houston Post Newspaper. I watched him work at his drafting table and learned complex shading and other techniques at an early age. I have created in excess of 400 works of art that are online in various places. Thank you. Actually I saw a still image of a scene from the movie "Forget Paris" and I wanted to do a painting of it. I decided on black and white and was please with the outcome. I didn't want it to look exactly like the still image I saw, my version is darker and more impressionistic.
